Commisson for :iconJTruth9419:Normally they're a tonfa style weapon, but pressing the button on the bottom of the handle lets the user flip the blades around and use it as a pistol.
I don't know exactly what the gun part fires, but it fires.
The gear that extends the barrel is actually connected to the blades, and when they turn, it pops the barrel out.

Thanks for this again! I know it was kind of a rough idea, but it came out nicely.
To help out, the weapon fires out carbine rounds made from water Dust. They’d appear like tiny bullets, but are potent in force.
