Description The Valor Blade, or as it is called in the Valaneshi tongue, "Vost av Aloat Soazas", meaning "Sword of The Valor of Wills", was the royal imperial sword of Menurei's twenty-eight monarch.

The sword was said to have been forged by the hand of a Demon Overlord (Demons were more common in the years before the Great War of Elenthriel, and were even said to have interacted with and coexisted amongst humans in Menurei). A single swing was said to be able to cleave an armored Elephant's four legs without resistance. Many thaumathurgists and alchemists have studied the sword and have found that, indeed, there were many enchantments placed upon it, from spells of resistance to tarnish, to the ability to move the elements themselves when paired with the right triggering incantation words.

The sword itself was dated to be four centuries old by the time the Elenthriel War began. Its caretakers at the time claimed that the full list of incantation words were inscribed on its original scabbard made of dragon bone, but it has been lost to the sands of time. Many suspect that, given the intricacy of the handle, the original scabbard was equally as complex, and was actually a machination of ancient technology in of itself. Some theorize that the sword itself is not merely a sword, but a key to some larger device, but no evidence has ever surfaced to support this wild claim. The last owner, Queen Amarennia Jhourne, had commissioned a scabbard made of laquered Angelwood, carved to fit the strangely shaped hilt. Strangely, the only undisputed quote that many records claim Queen Amarennia has said was, translated into common tongue, "I'm tired of seeing this ancestral blade covered in dirt. Craft a scabbard for it; the only thing a blade should be wiped clean of is a foe's blood, not dust." The last part of this quote went down in history as a motto for weapon collectors and bladesmiths across the world.

During the fall of Valeriana, before the Great War of Elenthriel, the sword was lost for a time. During the War, it resurfaced in the hands of Evasian Jhourne, Queen Amarennia's nephew and successor. How he came about obtaining it was debated; some sources say he travelled to the ruins of Menurei's demon capitol, Valerianna, and found it, and others say that he smuggled it out during the Fall of Valerianna itself. In any case, it played a pivotal role in the War of Elenthriel, and the last time it was seen on the battlefield was in his possession before he surrendered it to the Selmoor heritage museum of Elenthrieli history.

Wow. You're really good at weapon lore. I don't find too many people coming up with a whole history for weapons (excluding The Legend of Zelda, my favorite game). But this is really good! The story was very well put together!

Love the weapon and the lore. Love it when a weapon gets some history to it like it’s Excalibur or even Durandal
