Description
Here's a simple map of Derelictport, a former Schnee Dust Company mine that has been abandoned and repurposed by the Black Fang as their main headquarters. It is in the center of a circular valley which is a natural deflation hollow in the Vacuo Deserts. The mine was intended to be a quarry mine, but eventually the foundations of the facility would become compromised, so they shifted to shaft mining.

The Black Fang's current operations involves raids on White Fang camps, stealing airships and repurposing discarded ones from Atlas and Vacuo armies, gathering weaponry and ammunition from Mistral, Vacuo, and Vale, and delivering supplies to towns and villages that had been attacked by the White Fang.

As of the current timeline, in LUNAverse Fanon, the reason the White Fang took over half a year after the Fall of Beacon to reconstitute enough military force to attack Haven Academy is because of Black Fang interference. The Black Fang operates under greater discretion, and makes a point to not appear in any major news outlet, as they rely on guerrilla warfare to combat the White Fang. Because of this lack of visibility in the public eye, Sienna Khan underestimates their strength. But, with the persuasion of Adam Taurus, Sienna Khan permitted an extermination assault on the Black Fang headquarters in Derelictport with captured Grimm, so as to not waste White Fang manpower, the same tactic used in the Fall of Beacon.
