Atoya's heart sank as the short maned Tokota came closer. He was too dark to be the halfmane and had just a little too much fur. Still, she had already risen and walked part way towards the wild creature. He was pretty to say the least though possibly a bit on the thin side.

Her arm tingled where she'd been severely bitten during her last trip to the wilds. It had taken weeks to heal both physically and mentally from that experience.

Atoya nervously placed her hand on the fabric that now covered that spot of her arm. She didn't want to add to her growing collection of scars. Truly seemed to sense the handler's hesitation and moved closer to her side in an effort to comfort her. It worked somewhat. Last time she'd lucked out coming across Diagrams, this time she made sure to bring a companion, albeit a small one. Of course, this also hadn't been a trip she'd intended to encounter any wild Tokotas.

The short mane seemed to sense her hesitance and remained where he stood on the slope, sliding slightly in the slick snow sending small snow balls rolling down.

This was Truly's time to shine as an experienced mediator.
