Description
When I first went looking for Legion fanfic, I rolled my eyes at the amount of Gabriel/Audrey stuff -- their only interaction in the movie was choking each other out in the backseat of a cruiser before making an abrupt exit through the windshield. But the fanfic authors really gave them both new life, and now they're one of my favorite couples in fiction.From the top down:
Audrey's huggin' on her angel because he sort of always looks like he could use a hug. As someone married to a big guy of her own, it's hard not to want to hang off them for fun.
Audrey slices a cake with one of Gabriel's blade feathers. Anybody who gets the MST3K reference has my love.
And Gabriel continues his campaign to get Audrey to give a crap about philosophy (as begun in Ghosts of Babylon ), but she'd much rather stick to her novels. She's reading Chris Moore's Island of the Sequined Love Nun.

I think the cake one is my favourite. I love MST3K, but sadly do not get the reference. I've only seen a few episodes due to a lack of television presence on its part. :<
The books bit makes me think of a picture I saw. An open textbook with an M&M on each paragraph as motivation. It'd certainly work better than that Preachy McPreacherson stance Gabriel's got going on.
The top one is so adorable. I could see Gabriel being all 'I'm not enjoying this, you're invading my space' but then having that little smile there. And Audrey just knows. She's definitly got her 'u mad?' going on there.

I wonder how much of the book's content would be absorbed under such circumstances. "What did I just read you?" "Mmm..something something, there is no spoon, your feathers are pretty fluffy under here for a deadly weapon."

Oh, this is the right angel. And the situation with Michael, and with Charlie and the baby, respectively, are different in each story. You'll just have to read to find out!

I had to read your comments about the last vignette, but I though the Christopher Moore book that Audrey was holding was The Stupidest Angel. Both are funny, but that made me laugh out loud when I just saw the picture.

Alright. This is your fault. I've been seeing your art around quite a bit on the front page, and it made me curious, so I hopped over to Fanfiction.net to take a look, and I got hooked. I seriously read Ghosts of Babylon all the way to the 19th chapter in one sitting. You have addicted me to this couple. XDD
