So, I kinda liked how that My hero academia entry turned out ( www.deviantart.com/logbot03/ar… ), so I decided to give more exposure to the character that had more backstory: Chivalrous Five.
As I said, he would be a hero that went rogue, but who was he?
Chivalrous Five was once an American Hero known as Lancelot, known for his pompous way of talking and his moral code. He was also known as “The Golden Boy-scout” in the hero community due to his tendency of reporting the abuse of power committed by many heroes, and the fact that he spent most of the money he earned to charity. This behavior and his mysterious secret identity, made him grow in popularity, earning him the envy of many less noble heroes. He was also known to have started the anti-hero school campaign, as he believed that kids are incapable of understanding the importance of the hero’s role in society and the responsibility that came with it, suggesting that heroes should be picked directly from the police force. This move also brought on his side many officers of the law, and he became so popular that countless hero agencies wanted him in their ranks, but he insisted that he wanted to work solo, to protect his city full time without the impediment of paperwork and pointless interviews. Due to his incredible skills at using his quirk ( Impact), people from all over the country came to see even his most simple and mondane, as they was some sort of attraction to see a hero so close and devoted to help people full time, incrementing tourism as a consequence.Unlike most heroes, he doubted the figure of All Might, accusing him of being nothing more than a childish attention grabber, especially when he joined UA, but he surprisingly defended him, when retired after his last fight with AFO.
However he became too much of a thorn in the hero community’s side and as he was trying to rescue an endangered kitten from a tree, he was shot with a dart that incapacitated him. He was later brutally beaten by a group of hitmen and left for dead in an abandoned warehouse. The newly founded Pool Hall gang, later found him and medicated him back to health as Fateful Eight’s quirk suggested. Surprised by the honor that these villains have shown compared to the cowardliness of the hero community who didn’t even had the guts to kill him themselves, he decided to fake his death and join the gang, finding the title of hero meaningless after what happened. His influence however hasn’t stopped as now that he “died” companies started making merchandise “ in his memory”.
Despite his change however, Five has still kept his former costume and sincerely miss being a hero, but how can he still be one after the horrible crimes and abuses that many of them commit everyday without answering for them?
