This is probably my most ambitious design yet, due to the it’s head, it’s really complex to make, but it’s a fun challenge. I hope you’ll enjoy.

Soccer man was created by Light Laboratories as a sostitute for soccer players when they couldn’t partecipate a game, so technically he’s Megaman younger brother. But Soccer was so good that doctor Light was almost forced to make him a freelance soccer player, because the various teams will faked the illness of certain player in order to let Soccer man play and win the game. He was later bought by Brazil’s national soccer team, becoming an actual celebrity. Soccer is quite overconfident and a bit cocky, but he has a kind heart and both his team and his fans adore it. After witnessing an attempted murder in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, he decided to live there and become some sort of part time super hero for the people of the favelas. He can run at high speed and have reflexes superior to any human or robot, he can also detach his head, nobody really knows why doctor Light included this feature, but it came pretty handy when fighting criminals in the street. When the secret society attacked the city, he helped the citizens escape while he held back the secret society’s forces, unluckily he was bested by Stunt woman and was reprogrammed to serve his enemies. Soccer man’s stage would be the favelas he used to defend, now overrun by corporate soldiers, during the stage you’ll need to push or run away from giant soccer balls. And the mini boss is a persistent face in the Megaman classic universe, that appeared in two games: Tengu man, who will become a playable character after being defeated( I’ll explain how his comeback in another post). When fighting Soccer man, you’ll need to avoid his charges while his head bounce around the room. The player can only hurt the head, which he can also kick to create a powerful charge attack. After defeating him and after getting him to safety, he’ll give you his weapon: Soccer kick, that lets you shoot upwards or downwards a soccer ball, if you charge the attack you’ll shoot a devastating blow, but you’ll need to stay still while charging. He’s the first robot master that Megaman and his team should defeat, if you do so, after defeating 12 other stages, he’ll be back on his feet and become a playable character as well. Tengu man’s weapon is strong against him.
