Description
What can I say? I'm still having fun with the cel shading materials and sketch renders. The model is based off of an AnimeDoll and Vic2 hybrid.

Probably my most favorite of all the cel shade pieces.

I love the anime effect you added to this. I'm trying to use Poser in my art as well, but I don't know how I could use the effect you used though. Anyway, this is an instant fave. ^^

A beautiful character - the cell shading looks great once again and she's definitely gorgeous.... now please tell her to keep this huge gun aimed away from me! LOL!

No problem. I don't think she's programmed to go after the undead. You should be safe.

My turn to be inspired.
I have always like how you present your artwork. This is the first time I have tried something similar. I do like the results.

Hey, this looks awesome, great job with the colors and the toon shade!
The advantage of using hybrids is that they allow more clothing for Anime characters

The big headache about using an AnimeDoll/Vic hybrid is that the body looks like a stick figure attached to the head. I found that using deformers could help "fill" her out a bit and they could be applied to the clothing as well.
I'm running into your dilemma. These pieces go unnoticed in the Digital->Characters-Rendered group and I bet Iβll catch a lot of flak if I posted them to the digital anime areaβ¦..

Or maybe not - I have been posting **ALL** of my 3D Anime at the drawings->Anime section exactly because otherwise I was being pretty much ignored.
People who like 3D are not necessarily the same ones who like Anime, and those who do love Anime will not look for it at the 3D sections...
Even though DA only recognizes Anime as "drawings", it's not my fault that I do it in 3D. ^^

Yeah, I've been bummed out that the tradition art section has *tons* of subcatagories, but the digital renders section only has a few selections. Geesh! You can have RGP, Sci-fi, anime, fetish, and many, many more character designs.

Yes, I noticed that, and even discussed this quite a bit on my not-so-many journal entries...
The major prob is that DA only recognizes Anime as "drawings", and that excludes all of my work. But I moved everything to the only existing Anime section and people have been quite understanding about that. After all, my style is entirely Anime, and that's what I do. If I use 3D to create Anime, that's not the point anyways. I don't see things changing anytime soon, so I will just keep posting at the Anime section.
