Description
I thought I was done with Viera for a while, but... I thought I would do another one as a 30K thank you and I got to play around with some new silk materials I have been designing for Povray. I was a little worried I wasn't going to get this in time. This Viera is called V'nTil. I haven't had time to think up a story for her yet. However, don't make fun of her droopy ears. She is sensitive about it.
Thanks everyone for 30K page views!

I recently got my custom viera type bunny ears, and I have been working on creating my own original viera character with a purple color scheme. Your vieras are very inspirational!

I think you should have like, a writing contest or something to give V'nTil a story.
She's great.

wow, when i saw the small image, i thought you it was a photo of a small *model*
even in the large image, it's only the "buttshelf" that gives it away. bravo

Thanks!
I haven't seen any 3D from you in a while. Please say you haven't given it up?
(Although, the work you are doing on the dolls is really impressive! )

Heck no haven't given it up. Actually am playing on poser right now. Though I have to say I haven't fired it up in awhile I forgot where to find certain props in my runtime.
Blame my workload at work on the lack of 3d stuff. Plus all the dolls an doll parts I ordered from November and December arrived in January. Oh plus the PS3 I just got 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for noticing the chair! You are the first.
It was modeled in 3DSMax.

I love it! I wish I had clothes like that Love the glossy silky surface. Great job! The way you placed her in that composition is very artistic and very proffesional.
In other words: AWESOME!

Wow congrats on your 30K, I just got to 17K last night. It must be hard to pose a sitting character wearing a groin cloth. Hmm, I would clothify it and run a simulation to make it drape over the chair shape. Have been experiementing with dynamic hair sims, but so far they are extremely frustrating.

The cloth is pulled behind her. I thought about doing the sim, but then I would have missed the 30K mark.
Dynamic hair is just a real pain in the $#@$$@.

I missed my 17K mark last night by a few PVs, but I think it was Ok for as long as I was happy with the scene. In the end I decided to change the background color, and that messed up the antialiasing on the character transparencies. I would have to re-render everything from scratch to get the matching color in the transparency antialiasing, but that would take too long so I decided to do it manually the best I could with a paint program. Just in case I added a note about the problem because it was still slightly visible in the final version.
That's why PV specials are such a pain in the arse, because we have to do everything in a hurry!

Wonderful as always and congrats. I thought I'd tell you that her fabric looks more like velvet than satin to me... but either way its gorgeous.

Err. I meant to say silk instead of satin, but I agree. It looks more like velvet. Silk is such a bloody hard material to get right in 3D renders.
(I've been trying for a very long time... )
