Description
This is the first piece that tries out some new shaders and lighting engine I have been working on.The idea came from wondering what a demon-like girl with really big horns would look like.....
Enjoy!

the fact that the hair doesn't part around the horns makes the horns look like they float. i don't know how hard it would be to fix it but it would look a lot better

Nice lighting and nice materials. I like the pierced tail.

really pretty, and nice colouring, but the hair aroudn the horns flows unrealistically
nicely done

I was going to fix that in post work and then forgot about it. Oh well.

That would make life difficult. Like getting through doors and such. LOLOLOL Pretty damned cool character and pose!
"LIGHTING ENGINE?" Alright...WTF? I have heard of RENDER engines, but NEVER heard of a "Lighting Engine"! What in hell is that? Are we talking some kind of GI? Or something different?
AND--do you need an engine for lights? When the lights went out over here due to ice for an hour or so, I WISH I had an engine for the lights!

The lighting engine generates scene lights per some algorithm. In my case, I take a source image and turn it into scene lights (not entirely unlike HDRI image based lighting). The lights are imported into the render engine along with the models.
I have thought about adapting the code to Poser... but then.. I don't know how firefly would deal with the lights and I would lose a lot of control on their settings.

Poser NEEDS something. I don't know about importing lights, though. I don't think anyone ever succeeded in that. Looks very cool, though. It's weird seeing a back-groundless HDRI image, though.

Of course!
Still haven't got a new machine. The previous one started working again.

Such a waste that Poser dynamic cloth (and hair) are the only 2 things that still don't benefit from multi-threading, like the new Firefly does. Cloth and hair simulations are still single-threaded... -_-
