Description
I've been wanting to do a one winged angel for some time. I was happy with how this turned out. I liked how the banner forms the second "wing".It is probably the strongest image I have done in a while. Especially considering that there isn't any postwork in this scene other than resizing it.
I just uploaded a fixed version. For some reason, the resizing created a weird vertical line artifact left of center in the original. I did the resizing over and the problem went away.

Oh my... one wings only... does she flies in circles? Well... on secondo thought it's better if she can't just fly away!!
Lovely picture and a beautiful kneeling pose - she looks as if awaiting something (someone?) from above... and is ready to skewer it... i suppose i should change the flying route of my transport dragon... cool effect with the banner too, and i'm always amazed at your draped clothes - way excellent!!

My nickname around here is Loki. Turns out the Norse God's colors are Black and Red. There might some about the michief involved as well...

I love the composition, the red comes out quite nicely to bring out the mood.
On the other hand, the JPEG compression's chroma subsampling method used here created significant amount of artifacts that typically distorts shades of red, breaking them into bands.
This can be avoided by choosing a less severe chroma subsampling method if your JPEG exporter allows for that.
The draping cloth adds dramatic effect to the scene, awesome job!

I was confused by this until I set my video card to 16 bit mode. ( I only have a 32 bit and 16 bit mode. ) The banding does not occur in the 32 bit mode. However, it is quite visible with the video card set to 16 bit mode. I haven't been able to try 24 bit.

Bingo, I upgraded my video card drivers recently and it magically defaulted to 16 bits for some reason.
hehe, and I thought it was because of JPEG compression...

Yes, anti-aliasing was used, but the armor has a somewhat rough surface.

Just something to draw attention to the fact that there is an arm over there.
The light effect is a glow object in the MegaPov raytrace engine.
