Oh well... I give up!This was originally a project to see if I could create my own interpretation of an anime character using Aiko3. In this case, I was working on Battle Angel Alita. However, Aiko3 just doesn't have enough head morph targets to create Alita's face. I was going to scrap this project, but it made a pretty strong image anyway, so, I decided to go ahead an share it with everyone.

i think you did an awesome job! i love the texture and everything. great stance and well, everything! the hair is a little off, but hair is a pain in the booty anyway! you should be proud. alita is very hard to create!

I couldn't find a hair model out there that looks likes Alita's hair. I was happy I could get as close as this.

Very nice image. When trying to make more anime look on aiko I usually use other aiko packages and mix it my favorites are niani(renderosity), belbel(daz). I'm trying out inari(poserpros) I agree with ken the default morphs with Aiko lend towards a cross of anime with realism
It does look like her for some reason originally the first thing that came to mind was ghost in the Shell when I saw this picture in 3dconnect

It's not so much that I'm not satified as I think I fell a bit short of my mark.
I think the piece stands alone on its own and I really like how the suit turned out. If I was making an original character, I think I would have been very happy.

It's not always that we end up with the replica of the thought on canvas, some times it can be some new creation of our own giving us a creator status 
So, It's never bad that we haven't got the exact match of some others work, coz we became the master.

I learned a lot about aiko3/victoria3 seam guides. Why DAZ put the arm seam on top of the shoulder I'll never know. I guess they thought we would be spending all our time looking at arm pits. It would be a lot easier to hide flaws under the arm.

Ha, ha!! Arm pit tatoos! That MUST be the reason. Actually, when you think about it, how else would you do the seams so the whole body is one piece? The whole idea is creepy to me, reminds me of Silence of the Lambs. Yuck!!

hehe, just today I was commenting at a 3D Anime forum how Aiko ships with SO MANY facial morphs but they are mostly useless. This is because Aiko has an Anime shaped head, but realistic styled morphs. This is just to prove that DAZ doesn't have a clue about Anime style (Aiko's head is 90% identical to AnimeDoll's), but I don't want to elaborate on that. Have you considered using my Madoka hybrid figure for this character? She is a freebie, can wear any Aiko's clothes and has some of the best Anime head morphs available. Only requirements are that you must own both Aiko (free version) and MayaX's AnimeDoll ($18). In case you want to give her a try, she is available at my freebies page at Renderosity --> [link]

Actually, I have considered Madoka. (And I have used her before. 
What I'm discovering is that it is a lot harder to mimic a well known character than to create one from scratch. ( for me anyway! )
I totally agree with your comment on Aiko's morphs. I've never seen so many morphs an not be able to do what I wanted to do! There is a not a single morph to control how "sharp" the region of the eye is near the nose. In fact... there aren't any morphs at all to control how the inside edge of the eye looks..... (or I couldn't find any...)

That's the main reason why I came up the Madoka hyrbid, since Aiko's head morphs are so useless. AnimeDoll's head can control nearly every aspect of eye shapes, so replacing Aiko's head with it was a natural move. Another things I like about AnimeDoll is that her eyes are replaceable, and that is a big plus because it allows me to create my own eye props and they can be of any shape I like. Aiko eyes are fixed and all you can do is replace materials - very limiting considering Anime eyes are so different from that - you cannot change either size of shape. Although AnimeDoll is old, i think her head is still the ultimate choice for versatile Anime moprhs (for lack of something better).
