Description
I haven't posted anything in a while because I am working on a personal project. It involves writing lots of python code to randomly generate people based on a profile I specify. This image is some sample work of different characters created using a "heroic" profile. The scripts aren't smart enough to pick different outfits yet.All of the models are based on Vic3 and each one was rendered in firefly.

Oooh, this would be quite useful for things like generating different characters for a game (one of those isometric ones that use pre-rendered graphics). Create a PZ3 with the camera and basic animations already done, generate a character, then just render all the frames.

That's quite amazing. Poser Python just baffles me mostly. Took like 3 weeks for me to figure out you gotta indend the right way. What other profiles are you planning? I like the tattoo additions.

Lol! I made the mistake of correcting the "indenting" in the first python program I ever worked with.... that was a lesson learned.
It is really nice. You have the full power of python at your disposal. Thank goodness for the print statement though....
I have a "serf" or working class profile as well. That one generates some less attractive people.
Will probably do an upper class, etc..

Ha ha... the indenting feature is good and bad I suppose.
The serf one sounds fun!

That's an interesting mix and even more interesting project. Does the script apply the mat files as well as randomly select the body/head morphs and pose the model as well?

All of the above. Modifying the shader nodes via python was really, really, interesting.

I can imagine.
That is a very powerful tool you have there.

Generating people off of python code? Dude... I hate to tell you, but you have too much time on your hands. You have some peculiar personal projects,IMO. Not bad, just weird.

Hmmm... I know some people that would agree with you.
However, it is not as easy a problem to solve as one might think. Just randomize morphs on a figure and you will see what I mean.

Why would I WANT to? THAT is the point I'm missing here.
