Description
I haven't done a character design I have really liked in a while, but I do like how this one turned out.This started as a vehicle to test some new povray materials I was working on and things just kept going.....
Anyway, enjoy.

I couldn't find a bow I liked so I made it it in 3DSMax 5. I think it still needs some work. It is still a bit to angular for me, but I like it anyway.

Awesome, the angle of the wings seems a bit off in compair to her body but other then that it looks amazing, love the outfit

Wings can be a total drag, they're hard to pose and get them just in the right angle, takes alot of work

I think the problem here is that this is a really old wing model from Zygote. I like the shape of it, but it is really hard to pose without it looking "broken". I am thinking about re-rigging it for the future....

Hmm yes that has to be it, some types of wings just are like that they are almot unposable

I like the colour selections and finishing touches. The blue edging to feathers, the red marbled finish of her clothes. just right, not too bright a red without fading to pink. And the fact that her eyes match those of the owl, who by itself looks fantastic.

I created the bow in 3DSMax. I think I will work on it some more in the future. I wanted to turn it into something that might be useful at close quarters so it has a double bladed front.

It would be an interesting weapon. In a real emergency, one could cut the string and use it as a double bladed staff.

LOL I think Povray hates everyone that starts using it. Parrotdolphin and I have been using it for a while now and we are still coming up to speed.
