Description
This is the second of in the DnD series I am doing for my friends. This is for Ann. Her character is a dancer who has turned into being a rogue to survive. She uses a magical 3 section staff polished from coral to bash her enemies while distracting them with colorful silks.I hope she likes how this turned out.

Wow! Very nicely done!
And I love her purple outfit. You just don't see too many rogues dressed in violet and scarves.

There's nothing better than having a talented artist that can really bring a DnD character to life.
I'm sure the player will love this, it's Fantastic!

I like the way you did the purple in the hair. Is that spotty metal? - me likes! The background is good also - subtle but effective.

Not metal... It is supposed to be a polished gray leather, but the color of the lights and the color of the leather make it look like metal. I can't take credit for the idea of the colors and the strands in the hair. Those belong to Ann. Thanks for the comment on the background. I am learning that in a lot of cases simpler is better. I modeled the background in wings.

DnD should look so good! Pretty cool stuffs. I like how you took material to give a more cohesive whole out of pieces parts. Hey! That's what I do all the time! LOLOLOL
I am glad to see it working for you. Jeez, with the DRAMA and BS I've been involved in lately, I'm way behind on comments, but your stuff is always worth breaking the que for.

BTW: How is that going? Seems like a lot of people are having that problem lately.

I had an image yanked for pr0n! Jeez. On my last journal, I suggested going to Renderosity and searching my name and looking at Naked Math. Rendo has more restrictive TOS and all the Admins there signed off on it. DA still calls it pr0n. So I did a cut down version and put that up. I'm still pissed about it.
I did a search for 'sex' on DA and found animations of sex, and pictures of severed erect penises and such. Two people cuddling is pr0n around here, though.

More like outfits and some dynamic cloth simulations. I tend to pull pieces from a lot of different places and then work with the material settings to make them look like a single outfit.

Fab job as usual. Nice to see you post. I recognize some of the accessories and where they come from, did you make the armor and other pieces of clothing?

Lokai2000 In reply to Trish2 [2008-02-26 06:42:46 +0000 UTC]
Not this time around. I only did the hair pins, the draping cloth, the staff, and the metal disks that hold the pieces of cloth to the armor. I also did a hand axe, but I couldn't work it into the scene....

Cool. I admire your patience when it comes to modeling in general. While I can model I've discovered.... like programming... I can... I just don't like to. LOL

I'm learning that the more I do it, the easier it becomes. Modeling a human figure has made just about everything else seem trivial.
