This is such an amazing theme and in my opinion a major improvement from R1. The animated shell32.dll is such a cool feature and it just works really well with the theme, there are some bugs with it, for example the files re-animate as your scroll down which can cause some loading lag but other than that it is amazing. The theme is really clean for a beta and it looks almost complete apart from a a few loose ends, I really look forward for your next update on this release. So what new features are planned?

Either. Themes aren't architecture dependent as all they are are resource files.

That "for my Nadia" is from VSB. Open any theme made with it, they all say it.

Every VSB theme has that for a comment. It's been there since the first version of VSB.
And yes that image is it. But find it in theme

I see the beta of R1 has explorerFrame.
That was in may 2008 and the theme was calling "Longhorn Fusion" and there WAS a explorerFrame b/f buttons.
So why not now when firstly beta of M1 R2 is released?

longhornfusion In reply to dafmat71 [2010-05-10 20:50:33 +0000 UTC]
It's not 97dpi ready. Plus I don't enjoy custom DPI unless it's 120.

and how did you get multicolor preview pane on libraries?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
longhornfusion In reply to Seahorsepip [2010-05-10 18:56:40 +0000 UTC]
That's all handled in the shellstyle.dll. There are 24 styles, including GenericLayoutStyle, DocumentsLayoutStyle, MusicLayoutStyle, and PhotoLayoutStyle. In each of these styles there is a code that tells the background of the details pane for each style. if id="atom(PreviewShineLayer)" or something like that. In the inner text of that there's a template background which by default is PreviewPane, 1, 1. I set it to a custom class, part, and state I added in Base then used a custom image.

Can do this for R1 ported to Win7?
Im trying to do that but always explorer is crashing. But I don't understand about template background. Where' this? This in .msstyles? I need to change something in .msstyles?

I'd rather not mess with it. It's too much of a hassle to work on it and get it to look right in 96dpi.
