“Happy day, Oh Happy Day! Today marks the halfway point of Creature Feature! On such an occasion, we’ll be discussing the second Alien race to land and make its home on Estea, the Exovern.”

“Although the second Alien race to be listed here, Exoverns were actually the earliest to appear in the common consciousness of the people of Estea, they were the second Alien race to actually live here though, with The Scourge being the most recent. These plated pains are okay I guess, they haven’t done much to endanger the people of Estea, they’re more annoying than anything.”
“Exoverns are currently found in canyons, caverns, and other crystalline locales. Interestingly, they have a strong distaste for the Electrical biome and weakness to the chilled lands. This helps researchers to interpret an Exovern’s planet of origin, Kutov. Exoverns have an average lifespan of 140 years with maturing at 18. Moreover, they have an average height of 7 feet and 8 inches or 2.34 meters. Physically, Exoverns are covered in strong metallic exterior, resembling an insect exoskeleton. Exoverns have no legs, similar to lamias, they slither about. Weirdly, they are also capable of hovering, at a maximum height of 2 feet or 0.61 meters, it makes their basic locomotion redundant. Exoverns bear sharp claws and teeth as their basic offensive tactics, with poison glands and their multiple maws following suit. They are renowned for their speed and dexterity, making them deadly quick adversaries. Their most unique ability consists of splitting their limbs and tail, upto 7 free moving appendages, and becoming more octopus-like in appearance and movement. Once splitting, they become much faster, however they trade their physical defense, making them weaker.”
“Socially, Exoverns are relatively harmless, they are surprisingly docile despite their physical traits. Exoverns enjoy living in other civilizations, as they dislike being in each other’s company. Moreover, Exoverns have a liking for all things shiny, making a majority of the race a collection of hoarders, collectors, bandits, and robbers. Despite all of this, Exoverns are pretty chill people. I’m genuinely convinced that they came here as a vacation from their home planet. Either that or to simply get away from their original home or other Exoverns.”
