Description
16x20 acrylic and ink on gessobord. Another textured smooth surface that was subsequently subjected to several applications of liquid acrylic ink. Eventually the central, cyclonic form began to take shape, and I finished it by adding the swirling lines which in this piece begin to suggest volume of the form.Related content

Very evocative ... has a yggdrasil vibe about it - and hints of caduceus !
Magical!

Wow, I had been thinking of Norse myths lately while working. Amazing that this vibe was imparted! Mythology is one of my big subconscious influences.

hehe yeas thats the thing about art - because its a complex visual language which is intuitive rather than linear, it is the perfect vehicle for the subconscious to manifest!
You're obviously tuned in! Great work!

I wish I could make such an art piece.
The use of colour is very nice in your works.
I love how it all goes together in the composition, with always a simple unique drawing, like here the lines flowing around what I believe to be smoke..
Great work !
