This was a super fun little weekend piece. I always ask my boyfriend for suggestions for pieces and he decided that I should push through my comfort zone. That meant colourful, unnatural backgrounds and unusual patterns. And I am so glad, I love how this piece turned out. <3
Whoopie, the background is actually more saturated in real life.

I'm trying to push myself with realism, but it can be hard with huge pieces if you don't have the appropriate amount of time to put into the art. Smaller pieces seem to be the way to go in this case.
