Description
Well, it got accepted into Epilogue after some revisions, so I can finally call this done!This is a painting of my brother as a wizard's apprentice. The wizard has gone to bed for the night, but this little apprentice snuck into the workroom to get a closer look at the wizard's staff. Curiousity can be a good thing in some trades, unfortunately wizardry isn't one of those trades.

Love all the little details on his clothes and everything else. Awesome!
Epilogue can be totally nit-picky. That's why I gave up on them and came here. This way I can call things done when -I- say they're done.

This is a marvelously beautiful piece. The color and the mood are really engaging and quite fun. I do find one flaw with it, however, in the perspective on the shelves behind the boy. There shouldn't be nearly so extreme a tilt to them in such a confined space.
I feel like a cad pointing that out, as the rest of the piece is perfectly lovely, but I thought it might be helpful

glad to hear they finally accepted it! Took them long enough. Incredibly beautiful work, all the detail in the lighting and texture is just incredible.
