Alright look, even as someone who doesn't like/watch DBZ, I know Android-18 is with Krillin, really. But Illumise's eyes look a lot more like Android-18, so I made her into that. *shrug*

ALSO, as someone who hates memes.. can't help but like the classics that were funny before the word 'meme' was even being thrown around as casually as it is these days. I like the scene and think it's funny, so I rewrote this version to coincide with Marriland's Omega Ruby Wedlocke(a nuzlocke where each pair of opposite-gender pokemon are considered 'married' and are the only two that can be switched in and out of any battle, barring forced-swaps or death).

Marriland was just checking on what types of Hidden Power each of his pokemon would have, and Onion the Minun was dragon, and this immediately popped in my head....but it was a week or two before I actually drew it. Wasn't sure I could pull it off. Surprisingly wasn't that difficult to imitate Akira's old style, although I feel a little irked that it wasn't difficult because I don't parrrrrticularly like this style...but it's funny to me anyway.

As if it wasn't funny enough that Onion has dragon-type hidden power, Souffle has steel, which I didn't remember.... originally I was going to look up exactly who it was Goku married since I have no idea/remember-at-all since I barely skimmed through the cliff notes of the series ages ago. And then I chose Android-18 because of illumise's eyes, and then now I'm reminded that her typing is steel, haha.

May have overdone the attempt-at-anime-screenshot filtering, kinda darkens Android-Souffle's arms/legs a little too much. Oh well. Was fun, took two days, but I mulled it over in my mind so much I kinda got numb to the whole joke a little bit toward the end.

I'll submit it to Marrilanders, but have someone else Accept it maybe, since I don't know if it's a good idea for me to Accept my own artwork, haha. Oh, I probably never mentioned it to my group of Watchers, but I was accepted to Marrilanders as one of several "benchleaders" a while back ago...I don't know what "rank" that translates into before you edit the rank titles, but I basically just check their inbox every now and then and approve/move/disapprove artwork for the Club(no disapprovals yet!). So far it's gone pretty good.
