Description
Important info belowI HIGHLY recommend using Water version 5.4 which you can download here -> link
Also, in older versions of this effect, you don't need to/shouldn't change the name of textures folder.
I believe you can fix other effects as well with this method ^^ .

That's because it's by itself.
1. Load a stage that has water.
2. Load the effect.
3. Put the effect over the water.
4. Fit it for the water.
5. Enjoy!

This used to happen to me, too. Maybe you should open MMD with Applocal?
This effect was made for Japanese users of MMD, so maybe if it seemed like you were in Japan, it would work?

The effect loads super small in the program. What you need to do is change the Si box in the accessory panel to a bigger number. I tend to set it at 100.
If that doesn't work then idk.

Move it slightly above ground and load a stage, it should be transparent then.Β If you want your water to look super realistic and you have at least version 9.04 of your MMD, then go to the "background(B)" and then click "accessories edit(A)". then you'll see "over >>1<< th accessory "described after models". Change this 1 to 0. Now, before you scream "WHERE IS MY WATER GONE???" you should wiggle you camera and you'll see that small part of the floor (the place where the puddle is) reflects the stage/model c: .Β

I found out the problem. What you're suppose to do is put it over water that's already on a stage. When the effect is by itself, it's SUPPOSE to be white/gray/black.
If it doesn't work after that, then I don't know how to help you.

AlalaChan In reply to DreamingDaylight [2015-07-14 16:32:58 +0000 UTC]
Oh thanks. So I put it above the stage right?
π: 0 β©: 1
DreamingDaylight In reply to AlalaChan [2015-07-14 18:34:32 +0000 UTC]
Yes, you put it over the stage's water. The stage should already have un-moving water on it and then you put the effect over it.

How did you get it to work?

KimiKhali In reply to NightSummerRain [2015-02-12 13:38:00 +0000 UTC]
Well, I changed the names and deleted the japanese part. I don't exactly remember what I did thenΒ Β If it didn't worked I could have attached manually the .fx file to the .x file in MME editor, thinking that the problem was that I had changed the name. Sorry for my dumb answer, I used the effect for a present a month ago and I didn't use it again, so I forgot it. I'm the worst u_u
