I'm immensely looking forward to your take on the Machop line's Gen I sprites. Machoke's Gen I sprite was one of my favorites for how silly it looked.

man that pidgey looks like its seen some stuff haha, thats quite an intense glare, great color choices, neat brush strokes man

Yeah! If the problem is the battles mechanics, it's ok to make a mode only with the new dex and and other using the national (and letting everyone use whatever in the main play). I know they copied a lot of designs from other games, so it isn't a problem. They did something like pokemon bank, but I'm not sure how it works. It would be useful if you didn't need to take the pokemons from the original game and use them or manage them from the new one too.
