Description I decorated the cover of this book box (looks like a book but it is hollow inside) with polymer clay and all kinds of nifty things that I found, bought or traded for. Included is a stopwatch, old key, llanite, drawer pull, watch face, old bracelet from Nepal, brass letters and an old coin.
It took me forever to blend the clay to just the right color for the book.
I really love this box...I've had that stopwatch for a while and I hate to part with it. LOL

Thank you very much! Ostrich eggs are HUGE! That must be quite a project. I can't wait to see it. I am doing very well. I just moved into a store in a local mall and I'm trying to come up with an eye catching way to display my things. I think I am going to need to buy some kind of a display fixture. They are all sitting on a table now and it is dull and boring lol!

It's an insane project XD, I'm trying out the filigree clay technique and I'm new at it so I'm messing up a lot and I'm going very slowly..getting the hang of it though!
You should add those colorful glass rocks, or fake branches and flowers or something to your displays, a lot of your work is very 'earthy' and might look cool with some vines or something around them... dunno, just throwing random ideas out there! I hope you're doing well! Are you selling lots???

Oh, I recently made my friend a secret compartment book as well (naturally it had chocolate inside) but your version is much cooler. The use of the drawer pull is really clever, I love how you've integrated everything
