Description
This is the first of five tutorials on hands. I was thinking about how there are certain basic angles for drawing hands and if an artist can learn these angles, just about any position is possible.Links to other hand tutorials:

Bird's eye view? Well that depends on the direction the hand is facing. Is it pointing down so you don't see much of it?
if so, then the line from the outer part of the arm continues straight down till it means the knuckle. On the inner arm, the curve makes about a 45 degree angle (rounded) where it meets the thumb. Does that help? Don't draw all the fingers... just the knuckles and maybe part of the pointer and the thumb.
