Description
This is a tribute to a great cartoon series everybody knows, Recess. They don't make such fun, smart cartoons anymore. I miss those days...From left to right they are Vince, Spinelli, Mikey, TJ, Gretchen and Gus.
You'll probably know the reference picture this one is taken from (LINK ). Actually all I wanted was to draw them in my style, and I think (hope) I succeeded. It took me at least 6 hours to do it (one for each character). Hope you like it!

Oh so amazing! This was one of my favorite shows! I remember in 2003-2004 when I was in 1st grade, I'd come home every day and watch this show (one of my fondest memories).

Your right. They never make cartoons the same anymore. Even still, Disney doesn't make as many cartoons that aren't computer animated anymore much either.

yes, that's exactly my point! It just looks as if they didn't put so much care into making cartoons as before. It's the same with the movies. except maybe for the princess and the frog, but that's just an exception and not the rule... Maybe I'm old-fashioned or whatever (I'm only 17!) but I don't like animation nowadays so much...

Yeah, the 3-D and computer animation stuff is alright, but I prefer hand drawn.

I like the you-can-still-tell-its-them part (that was my intention, I'm so glad I succeeded in that way), but not so much the first one... cause I've been trying to quit drawing anime, which I had been doing for so long and I really want to stop doing... But on the other hand I'm glad you pointed that out (I didn't notice) so I can try harder
