YAY! MY FIRST TUTORIAL! *gets shot*Big, BIG file ahoy!
This is how I do my fur. =3

Program used is Photoshop CS2, but I THINK versions older then that can be used as well. I'll also make a GIMP version of this for yall. ^^

Because I got... two new computers since this tutorial was released; I started out with Photoshop on both them, so I had no need to get GIMP.

Cool, this helped me alot, even though I don't have any version of photo shop. (Makes me mad, too.) I found a similar tool to that fuzzy one used in this tutorial, and I just chanjed the brush type. >.< But it still turned out pretty close to this, to.

i tried it... but the clouds are too big... it makes it hard to do the fur and get the right colors

Argh! Awesome tutorial. Really. But I don't have a smudge tool! I only have a blur tool, which doesn't work for this! What do I do?

Did you try right clicking on the blur tool? If you do that, a list of other tools, including the smudge, comes up.
