Description Mask Vector Painting Tutorial
Chapter 1: Learning The Basics of MVP

The tutorial only works for users of Photoshop CS and latest. This is because Clipping Mask is only available in the Photoshop CS and latest.

But there are explanations of other things inside like brush, vector and mask, so users of older version of Photoshop still can learn something from this tutorial.

Anyway, hope tutorial this will help somehow in creating better digital painting for everyone. If there's any question, please don't hesitate to ask or send a note.

^___^ Thank you, i'll apreciate any feedback to regarding about the tutorial, so i can make a better one for the next chapter.
Have a nice day.

This is a bloody good tutorial and I found it interesting and easy to follow. If you don't mind me asking, are you finished with chapter 2? Are you going to submit is soon? (I’m sorry if I'm rude or anything! )

I thought the sphere was done in 3D at first. But before reading the tutorial, I knew You did it especially after seeing the characters in the rest of Your gallery.
So does this mean MVP art can be resized, even made larger without pixellation. Because a smaller image takes less time to make but normally sucks when resized larger.
At least I have CS2, now I should try that.

bah I hate using PS to vector, I would've never guessed it could make something so complex (tifa). Always stuck with illustrator for text and vectors, but looks like ill have to try it with PS, very informative and easy to understand

Cool...didn't thought of that. I was having problem rendering one of my illustrations when the computer couldn't hold all my layers are blending layers. Anyway it's here: [link]

The lighting is kinda funny but I'll rework on it using your method. Thanks a lot!

wow!
thanks for this!

looking forward for the next chapters..

I would be really happy if you could post
a tutorial of how you did TIFA..
or something similar as characters and faces
are the hardest thing to do..

hopefully there would be more chapters
and more advanced features!

I hope you are only encouraged and won't
stop halfway through!

a lot of respect for what you do!
you are the best!

Chapter 2 is underway. At advanced chapters, i'll be posting how to do more complex paintings such as skin shading and face painting.

Well, some advice could be that you make it less photoshop specific, or some kind of alternate method, as i do not have photoshop
