this tutorial is an answer to the people out there who have asked me to post one. Thank you for the inspiration and trust. i used my latest deviation as my subject.I don't want to take full credit about this. I believe i wouldn't have learned all of these without my idols, the people i looked up to and the people who have been part of my progress as an artist.
there are too many to mention but i must say some of them.

First I want to say...Your art is awesome! Second, thanks for this tutorial. I have been asking lots of people about coloring, and though I do not quite understand all of your tutorial (since I am a total newbie to digital coloring) I will use the tips (once I learn the very basics). I have tried to color using photoshop for a while, but it always turns to garbage. If you have any tips for a very new beginner....I would be VERY grateful to learn them!

Thank you so much! This is really clear and well-laid-out. Makes the process much easier to understand. I've been giving a lot of thought to how I'm going to tear myself away from the sappy cell-shadded crap I've been doing and this will help a whole lot.
