About the debate over the ending of the movie, I’ve heard one really good argument for each side of the argument. But they both require either A) examining the movie credits or B) having read the original screenplay. So to me in the end it is up in the air.
And yes, Freddy’s totem is a Deadpool action figure

Finally saw this movie last week, and the ending doesn't mean a thing. You need to watch, pay attention to certain scenes throughout the movie, as it explains everything. I won't spoil it for anyone, so note me to find out. I love this movie, its my fav for this year with Scott Pilgrim, blew me away. The score, the effects the story and I even love the fact that its nearly 3 hours long, going to watch it again this week.

What would have been funny as well is seeing both Neo and Freddy complaining how the folks in Inception got it easy that they can't die in real life when you die in dreams.

D: the ending through me off too!! My boyfriend said the whole thing was supposed to be a dream, cause the top never fell over, and something about the guy at the airport couldn't have had time to get there before they did...
But the top was starting to waver!! It was getting wobbly!! We didn't see it fall over, but we didn't see it NOT fall over either...
XD personally, I was expecting the kid's to get ALMOST turned around and then cut to credits right before we saw their faces...

it was a great movie, but we didn't stay long enough to "examine the credits." I do know it kind of irritated me, but it was totally awesome movie-wise
