G1 Prime, and Primal, forever! And Rodimus Prime is alright, if a tad whiny. Animated Prime learned the facts of life, movie Prime had to protect an idiot who couldn't control his hormones and Armada/Enegon/Cybertron prime got some pretty good battles, well when he wasn't going all super mode.
But for me G1 Prime, Primal and Rodimus are the better. Well G1 Prime and Primal anyway.

I would take Armada, Energon and Cybertron Optimus Prime, because he is the one that I saw when I was 16-18, and I know him well.
But perhaps, thinking again, in my childhood I had seen Optimus Primal, Beast Wars and Beast Machines.

I'd have to say that Animated, Armada-Energon (Cybertron does not count!), and G1's are the best Optimuses. Beast Wars is up there also if you count Primal.

The TF2 movie had major issues and plot-holes and was amazingly dirty for something everyone took their 5 year olds to see, but the parts with the actual transformers and not megan fox's buttcheek or other parts was really well done. The battle scenes were great! I cried when Optimus died though...I really did.

dude! i love rodimus prime. it made me so mad that neither he nor sunstreaker were in the new TF movie and sides only got a one line cameo. i watch the REAL transformers movie almost every day! have been since my dad got it for me 2 years back for my 12th b-day
