This is amazing and like WOW but the bottom also creeps me out a little. I think it's because of the realism of it. It's beautiful though! <3

Im interested in knowing why the wings would be a separate muscle in the mid range of the back, I would think that it would stem from the shoulder blades and us the shoulder muscles.Β

I have been working on a tutorial explaining the physiological difference in movement for those two contrasting positions.

I don't know how to anatomy, but I do have a question. Why stop the lower wing muscles right above the glutes? Is that just for aesthetics, or are there anatomical reasons?

Excellent question. They stop right there mainly for anatomical reasons. I'm still working on the details, but since they are back muscles, the entire purpose is designed for movement (push and pull of muscle and force) and well as stabilizing. Personally, i find regular human back muscles to be more aesthetically pleasing since they aren't as bulky. So this is more of a stab at being anatomically correct rather beauty. Β

This is so crazy awesome. I love how much work you put into the anatomy of your characters.
