I really like the impression of warmth. I think it's caused by such subtle influence of the yellows against the predominant blues.... very nice!

great colours you caught there... I'll visit your New Zealand in August .. I hope I'll get a chance to catch some light like this! You did a great job here!

meemo In reply to spako [2007-06-29 04:00:40 +0000 UTC]

thank you, I'm sure you ll enjoy NZ although you are here during our winter so you better bring a raincoat and some sturdy boots
oh and in regards to Cape Reinga, be there for the sunset, normal daytime is rather boring there and dont underestimate the drive there, its longer than the distance on a map would make you believe it would take.

Thank you so much for the tipps! so one can drive there by oneself? I thought you had to take a bus to get there because of the roads?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

meemo In reply to spako [2007-06-29 11:25:24 +0000 UTC]

no worries.. if you have any more questions i'd be happy to answer them, if i can, and yea, you can drive there yourself. I did. the roads are basic dirtroads and are pretty rough, i drive a Mazda 3 (Sp23) and it made it; So any car should be ok for the road but if you get a hire car i can only advise to get a 4x4 drive or at least a car with a high suspension as you ll be driving through quite a few bad stone roads with deep bumbs in the road.
