yea the composition is kinda odd. i was basically just playing around with my wideangle and i liked the surreal lighting of the place... oh and this is not HDR in any way. all real/slightly adjusted via Gradient Maps and "Soft Light" layers..
PS: Have you ever thought about writing a little tutorial about how you alter your images with textures? Cuz i ve been trying and it always turns the picture into shit.. no idea how to get it right, and i have read plenty of tutorials...

yeah, I actually thought about it, but I'm a lazy piece of sh.. eeh, meat and my english skills are rather bounded
BUT I will reconsider it.
recently I've seen one of those video-tuts and thought: "Hey, this is nice, I could do that".
There's also a way of implementing audio annontations in a photoshop action. never tried it though...
...forget about this audio annotation thing. tried it just now. failed. so, video or a pdf tutorial, let's see.
any particular work by me in mind?

ooh.. i ve never heard of a photoshop audio annotation feature.. too bad it doesnt work. that would be pretty cool to use. anyway.. i think you should reconsider and in terms of your english i don't see that being any problem whatsoever.. video tuts are the best but would probably take you longer than writing it up!?
but yea, video tuts are cool. pdf is too that way you could print it off too.
in regards to what I had in mind:
[link] --> I love this one (can't believe i didnt have this faved.. ) in terms of the tut however i d be interesting to know how you tinted it and how you have the scratches appear strong (as in very visible) but they dont destroy the underlying detail. Also how they re coloured, dark in some parts and light in others.. might be simple techniques but i cant seem to get these things right
Oh and the black "emulsion stain like" borders (top & bottom)...
[link] in this one i find the emulsion stain/ border manipulation awesome and even though this might be simple i can't get these things to look natural (as in realistic) inside my own pictures...
and last but not least:
[link] this one is overall interesting.. scratches of course but especially how you got the tape in there...
so much so good. i need some sleep now
all the best mate.

the audio annotation works, I just don't know how I save and import them not talking about putting them into an action.
another idea would be a marco. The only issue I can think of a different screen resolutions...
[link] I think that's clear now
[link] I can't really remember all the procedures this photo was running through. I just know they were many! please check my Lith Print Action if you're also interessted in the effect itself. in regards to the border: I used a scan of a billowy photo print as a mask. That's the reason it looks so real.
[link] same as number one
please have a look at my photo edges. [link] These work very well as masks. E.g. place them as a top layer and use screen mode...

Awesome stuff man. I really appreciate you helping me out. As for the audio annotation.. wouldnt a PDF be able to carry sound?

thanks man, although there is less photoshopping in here than you might think. the lighting was really that bizarre.
