On the one hand, she made it quite clear she'll go far to defend her friend. Even if she doesn't actually go on and even think about doing it in the end. It's still quite the threat.
On the other hand. If some weeks/month from now. The world of IISY is in the midst of a transgender pandemic crisis, because patient zero was allowed to just go on about their daily life. And no one said anything in the research community fast enough to prevent things...

Yeah, once it reach emergency protocols to deal with starting pandemics it probably wouldn't be that long for the authorities to find patient zero. Depending on the contagion vectors. It'd probably point to that neighborhood, and specifically the places Charlie goes to often. From then on, it wouldn't be long to interview the right sets of students and figure that out.
Thankfully for them, it doesn't seem to be highly contagious. I mean, Vale has been around her a lot and seem fine (so far). So I doubt they are at risk of creating something as dramatic as a kind of pandemic issue.
Jessi is kinda taking a risk by letting them go just like that though. Even with anonymity, she probably should be advising them to avoid having Charlie going around places for no reasons until they know more about what happened and why.

Jessi will certainly try to gather mode data from the tests/samples she told them to gather, but considering Vale can be threatening, she shouldn't try to push things too much too quickly.

It's more like a strictly objective way of things, if Jessi did get the news going it'd be an unstoppable process, though yeah, Vale is quite agressive, but it mostly limits to her personality, she's not the type who would go around physically hurting people just because they looked at Charlie.

I get that she wouldn't hurt people just for looking at Charlie. But Jessi already agreed to not spill the beans. It might not be a good idea to threaten her further is all I'm saying. Burning bridges like that isn't such a good idea especially since they still need her.
But no one said Vale had to be rational about the whole thing.
As far as her feelings towards Charlie, I was wondering more about a shift in their relationship rather than her feelings about anyone else.

Put things into perspective though, not only does Jessi had some direct interest in revealing Charlie's case she also seems less willing to help, she does, but the whole time seems pissed about it, Christine otherwise can't really help like Jessi can, but it's evident for both Charlie and Valentina she's trustworthy and caring.
What I'm getting at with this is that Valentina needed to draw a line with Jessica simply because she doesn't appear trustworthy.
There has been a shift in their relationship so far, though it's mostly from Vale's side.

I feel like you could have gone a bit darker with the final panel. Her face says she's serious, but it kinda also feels like she doesn't fully mean she'll literally kill her. In a lot of series there's a little more emphasis on the eye communication, and maybe some silhouetting with the face to form the more skull like shapes of the face such as around the eyes and in the cheek areas. I can show you some examples of what I'm talking about if you're interested.
