Actually, the anatomy in this piece was based on the dragons from Dungeons & Dragons (TM). When I, myself, go about designing dragons, I usually work off the principal that they are hexapods, and that the wing structures are closer to that of modified 'arms.' It was fun to do for a change, though.

That is truely a beautiful rendering of a Gold DnD dragon. Many congrats dude. You have great skill. I've only done one dragon I'm proud of.. And even then it's nothing compared to this. Very well done is all I can say.
