Description I saw a crack in this blank and decided to turn it before it expanded. Since it was mostly dry I figured i'd finish it. I didn't finish it very well. Why bother when it might shatter. I can't wait to finish the rest of my elm pieces. I love the grain

Well, it's warped like a banana (or my mind) but still hasn't cracked even after a couple 80+ degree days. I personally like visible warpage but do you guys think the average consumer would? If so I can greatly decrease the time from log to bowl. I've held off sanding the base down on all of my pieces until I'm sure they have reached their final shape.

Tis nice grain MATE can't ya do anything about the crack like glueing it?

It is a small fracture and I hit it with superglue. I really doubt it will crack anymore.
