Description
Finished at last... That could be a sequel to Old Town , where some strange people (?) wander in the streets at night...Pen & Ink, tubular pen, washed ink on paper (29,7cm x 42cm).

very unique, slightly different from some of your other works. Puts one in mind of the burtonesque claymation characters in conjuntion with the old beetlegeuce style. For one odd reason or another the middle ground lightbearer draws my attention the most, probably in those droopy long eyes. My only question is what is that coil-looking pitchlblack object in the viewer's window?

It can be the broken part of the window or maybe the interior edge of the window, just below. The low-res scan tend to mix the all things in black in that corner...

When i first saw your gallery i found a lot from the artists you mention as favourites on your devious info. before reading it. It was great because i love those artists too. You mix al this styles and have your own. Your work is amazing. I love this piece it reminds me Nihei and Tsuruta both.

Reminds me of LoveCraft's "The Festival"...strange village, villagers wearing strange masks all abandon the town to descend down a stairway into the earth.....unwholesomeness ensues. Nice piece.

I wasn't especially thinking of that particular story, but yes, this is definitely the main influence here. There is also a bit of Innsmouth, even if they're not very fish-looking
