Great Work ! Of course the metallic feel is nice, but it has something really Escher-like, when you think you can see something in 3D in it, then you see it can't be real, then you catch something else and it can't be, you zoom out and find something else that look like it could be but in fact nothing here can be 3D...

Ok....seriously...friggin amazing, Michael! Some of your stuff is a little too techy for my taste, but this is the kind of thing you do so amazingly well, that just blows me away. I'ts artististically perfect...the form, the flow, the placement of everything.
As much as I love fractals, there's very few I'd hang on my wall....and this IS one of them!

Another different fractal, but I do like this one a lot, probably more than most of your new ones. The combination of shiny, metallic structures, and the smooth ocean-like fractal waves around the image are incredible. Just beautiful control over the colors, the details, even the very layout of the fractal in this rendering.

i don't usually keep a count of how many transforms i use. I just use whatever i need. I think there is 5 in this one though.

I'm impressed with your abilty as always - the shiny 3D metallic bits, the spheres, the grey texture are very cleverly done - but, to be honest, I don't find it aesthetically pleasing to look at - I just think it's a bit too distorted.
