Description This is the 3D wireframe breackdown of my Angel renders here:

Project description is in the final render...
This image shows that every part of that render is completely done in 3D using Maxon Cinema 4D R11.4 and its Modules Mograph, Pyrocluster and Advanced Renderer with GI (Global Illumination) and a M4 Mesh with morphs deformers, texture shaders and props...

PyroCluster elements are shown as spheres during wireframe renders!

The wireframe render is done using C4D's Sketch and Toon module.

The render test and render test took a while.
Cold winter evenings a great for renderings like this one... You need a loot of evenings for this...

I didn't see the digital breakdown - how very cool. He is stronger, more open with his posture and expression. The Angelic is so strong in both the male and female. Still loving the progression images!! It would be neat to see both of these images in the same picture - if you were so inclined. With the male on the right and the female on the left - like he's reaching for her, and she's still making up her mind whether to take his hand or not. They work well together too.

Whoa, this is so amazing!!! The complexity of this 3D piece is mind-blowing! It's fascinating how you did the cloud formation, too. This is pure technical artistry to the max!

You have to stop this May!
If you dont stop it, I am going to believe you...

It is just a different technique of generating images.
And as I am no digital painter I try to create art works like yours this way.
You can imagine that it takes the same practice and passion as digital painting.
When it comes to 3d textures our worlds merge.... They are done in Photoshop and it is a little bit like digital painting....

MayFong In reply to mike-reiss [2010-03-12 00:22:25 +0000 UTC]

You have to face it - you are awesome! Believe it!

You create the 3D framework and finish the texture with superb texture details. That's beautiful ART!

My task was optimizing and morphing a premade 3d mesh (M4 named) and improving the texture (M4 texture set).
I pay a lot of attention and passion in light and shadow such as pose...

Thanks. The spheres are representing the PyroCluster shader, wich is able to render effects like clouds, dust, fire and smoke...

PyroCluster Clouds are displayed as spheres during wireframe or shader render passes.
The get a parametric shader system on the final rendering wich applies the cloud effect to the spheres...

Ok, gracias!
no sabia que Cinema interpretaba a PyroCuster de esa manera, ciertamente hay cosas muy interesantes en este software.
jeje, entendido asΓ que por eso aparecen las esferas en la malla .

Hi Arne, Danke!
That is why I did this image. The clouds are generated using a TP particle system in combination with a pyrocluster effect generator for clouds, dust etc.
Even the light rays are rendered in C4D.

Wow
How long does it take you to do the average piece like this one? It looks VERY time consuming. You must need a great deal of patience for this type of work.
Thanks for letting us see the "behind the scenes" of the piece

It tooks some evenings...
You are right! Patience is one thing you need for that. There are so many test render and prerenders to get closer to that what you want...
You are very welcome to look behin the scenes young lady!
