Description
Here are some new doodles of the latest NPC I've added to our Star Wars RPG game, the beautiful but deadly force using Togruta huntress, Shi'an. She PWNed the party when they trespassed her territory searching for her Jedi Master.Personality-wise, she's an independent-minded individual in a very group oriented society. Because of this mentality and her force powers exacerbating the situation she became an exile at an early age. She was found in the rain forests of Shili by an old Jedi Master who left the council many years before because he was tired of the politics and yearned to simply commune with the force as he did in his younger days.
Since the Togruta are basically anthropomorphic tigers with horns, tendrils, and red skin, I decided that tigress would be the best way to describe her personality and mannerisms. She snarls, bites with her long canines, does not speak or understand much basic, and hunts obsessively. With her exile background, lack of communication skills, and piss poor charisma she's kinda like the child raised by wolves and brought to civilization. She's socially about as awkward as Edward Scissorhands and outgoing people make her very nervous.
With her force abilities she tends to call on the force for power but does not have good control of the force powers she and those around her generate. She does the whole meditation thing but does not have the other elements of discipline down. She's too easily distracted and too instinct driven most of the time but with training that will change.
Developmentally I plan to have her learn to communicate in basic better. She'll still speak in brief enigmatic statements, but her tenses and grammatical structure will be correct and she won't have to use telepathy to communicate as much (though in many cases a telepathic picture is worth a thousand words). Her new jedi instructors (including one of the Player Character Jedi) will have to teach her to achieve the kind of emotional and disciplinary balance that she has achieved physically.
In terms of game play I wanted a fairly well balanced character with an emphasis on mobility, and physical wholeness. I've got a character with a lousy use force roll but simple force powers. She's got many abilities which either use force points or can be greatly enhanced with them (not to mention the extra force points to use them). She's not so much a damage spammer (though she does fairly good damage at 2D8+6) however she is really fast and mobile on the battlefield and makes a quite respectable tank with 46HP slightly better than normal defenses, evasion, damage reduction 10, equilibrium, shake it off, etc.
Because she's exotic and when they first met her she was wearing something akin to wraps rather than robes, the party has voted for Shi'an to be my new PC when I'm not running games as the GM. Whether I decide to keep using her or not will probably hinge on how the party interracts with her (aside from the Duro pilot always trying to feel her up).
Star Wars, Shili, Togruta, Jedi, etc property of George Lucas and SW RPG property of Wizards of the Coast.

Presumedly you are referring to the exaggerated cartoon waistline.

Everybody knows that in sci-fi, humans are just a massively inefficient design. You can fit twice the muscle, chitinous armor, and redundant organs in half the space with any other species.

The other half of the battle, however, involves hurting people.

I've seen it because wookiepedia has pics of a KotOR era Togruta jedi from behind. 3 head tails is the norm for Togruta but since 4 is a rarity I decided to go for it because it makes her more exotic and emphasizes her being different.

It's an excellent resource for those of us who don't want to buy all the novels and comics.

There are also some encyclopedic books. For example, the book of all known planets or all races or all vehicles. Unfortunately here they are SO expensive, prices are UK Pound, not even US Dollar 0_o Especially I would like to buy "the vehicles".. I dont remember the books' names. You cannot find that much detail and information from internet.

True, there are some useful encyclopedias but they are expensive which is why I stick with wookiepedia.

*cackles*
I've been meaning to get into the Star Wars RPGs, after diving into D20 Modern and Spycraft earlier last year, and playing DnD for aeons.
Looks like you folks'r having a blast.
The character is intriguing. Looks like somebunny I'd like at my back in a tight spot, anyway.

The new Saga Edition is a vast improvement over the previous Revised Edition. Its halfway between D&D 3.5 and 4 in terms of mechanics. Its a good game system.
It has been.
Thats the plan.
