Aww, but winter-coated anthros are so pretty. I've gotta half-agree with you though, it seems like alot of anthros have full winter plumage instead of a normal or short summer coat. But it ain't a bad thing if your focus is on the texture and detail.

Yeah. I try drawing my anthro's sort of mixed -- They have Summer coats in the summer, and winter coats in the winter.. And some of them who are geneticly from warm weather but born in cold weather just have winter coats like humans have winter coats. But Its so hard to keep my character Cari Seacrest from looking too masculine in the face with shaggy fur... So I'm working on a picture of her so her face remains normal, but her fur gets shaggy rather then short and sleek

You could have the shaggy fur slick back into a prominent ruff surrounding her face. That way, she still looks feminine without looking like a Schnauzer *has three female Schnauzers who all look male because of big whiskers*

XD I went to fav it and it removed it from my favorites. Took me a while to find -- you put it in the wrong catagory.
You put it into the Digital "Art > Drawings > Miscellaneous" catagory rather then "resources >Tutorials>
X3 Maybe I can talk into adding it to her list of tutorials on her fur tutorial with the strokes. [link] thats the tutorial She made. Not quite as detailed, but its simplized.

I use simpler methods of making fur when not doing photorealistic work. The smudge tool works fairly well if you use it right. I couldn't find the resources categorey and I don't want to re-categorize it now since that would take it off alot of people's fav lists, and they may need it.
I don't mind if she adds it to her list. Always happy to help people, and adding it to a tutorial list will create more exposure for it.

Actually, changing the catagory is easy and doesnt remove it from the favs -- You go to "Edit Deviation" under the image, click "The category and section", then change it t" resources, tutorials, Media/program" and it will remain on peoples favs but be easier to find. Though it WILL pop back into everyone's Recent Deviations, so I would also edit the description to say "Moved into the correct Catagory so Deviant Art won't delete it"
Cause they will if someone else. o_O They are amazingly strict about that.

It didn't really matter to me...I was at my Grandma's housecleaning out the shed so we could put the new one up, and then I raked leaves while my mom put all the old cobwebby an' rusty stuff back in. XD
