Description I'm not the best colorist in the world but i thought i could share some tips that help me when i colour
i wouldnt call this coloring technique basic because you do need a concept of lighting and form to really pull it off but its certainly not expert

One question: How do you blend colors and such to make them look smoother without using the smudge tool? Do you use the fade option?

i just use a regular paintbrush and keep my left hand on ctrl so i can color pick off the edges of the stroke and work them in.

It's about this point that I realize my artistic skill level is well below intermediate. As nice as it would be to apply what's here, it's kinda' way above what I'm capable of now.

it depends on what style you are going for i think (im not sure any of this can be applied to TDI style! hahah)

Good point. On the other hand, the biggest reason I use that style is because it's fairly simple and un-complicated.

Dedicated to it because I'm actually capable of doing a decent job with it .

oh hahaha i know how that goes. im like that with adopts now... and the idea of doing a full picture with a normal sized body terrifies me OTL
