Our story starts with Simba, the king of the pridelands, and Kovu, the future king. Simba has sent Zazu to fetch Kovu and only Kovu so that he can speak to him alone. This confuses Kovu since all his lessons before have always had Kiara involved. He hopes he is not in trouble and makes his way to the top of the rock.
