is holding a sort of character design contest. The challenge was to design your dragon persona. (Not fursona aka Mary-Sue).

I interpreted my dragon-sona as more of the "eastern" type since they're fuzzier. :3 (and I like my hair.) The design was strongly influenced by the Chinese Qilin (or Kirin...which is why the giraffe is thrown in there. Also i like giraffes). Technically, a qilin is NOT a dragon...but it's made up of dragon parts and looks enough like statues of Chinese dragons that I've seen.

I tried to use my actual proportions for the body too. I'm "pear shaped" meaning my hips are wider than my bust and shoulders. It's true, my arse is big.
(Lucius: It's not that big. >_> Really. I've seen bigger)
So have I. I'm just saying in relation to other measurements.

Anyway, other things that reflect "me" in the design which may not be a known factor to most.
1) Tiny feet. This is why I chose hooves over feet. Mine are near child size feet.
2) Scale Back - reflects my back scabs. I always seem to have them. It's really annoying. I also have lots of acne scars on my back.
3) White skin, brown hair - went literal with the color. Although I'm not THAT pale.

Contest Challege: Expressive Feature
Mane and Tail: Like a cat, my mane bristles when angry or scared. Normally it's pretty flat. The tail also very cat-like will be erect when happy.
