Because I like Symbiotes... and I like Nightcrawler. I think this never happened in the comics, did it? And it's also terribly out of character, like why would it ever happen, but I honestly don't care harrharr Β Β Anyways, I feel like I am finally making progress in digital art, every painting I do feels like progress, which is why I am uploading all of them (I am not finishing much of it xD)Related content

Venom was already creepy enough, I remember reading and playing the games wherein he would appear out of nowhere. Anti Venom in Edge of Time gave me nightmares. (I've played the games, yes, but I've also read all of the ultimate comics and other series of comics and obsessed over the 1994 tv series) He can't exactly teleport in those, but with this ability...Β I'd say ship this idea to marvel and wait for the chaos to happen XD

I always found the idea of this parasite which disguises itself as a symbiote (although Venom is actually one of the more peaceful members of his species, if you read up his characteristics and the actual way it behaves it seems to be more protective than agressive. Carnage is the overly agressive one) really intriguing. The "Spectacular Spider-Man" had a fantastic arc about this. The usual story about the symbiote coming to earth, bonding with peter until he notices the side effects and gets rid of it until it's found by Eddie Brock. But the way they handled it was so awesome and much better than in Spider-Man 3. Since then I've been pretty obsessed over Symbiotes in general every now and again, just because I find the idea really fascinating. I like the psychological aspect of it, with the symbiote becoming part of the host's conciousness and often causing permanent split identities. And yes, it is really creepy, but in my mind its more because the "attack" is on such a personal level. Now I am actually a noob on comic books, sadly I never managed to get into actually reading them, but I am a huge enthusiast when it comes to lore, I love how much there is to read about the characters.

ohmygosh Spectacular spiderman was the best show ;_; I watched that series with my whole family, we always had fun! we loved the take on green goblin. ;v;
I played every video game, read almost every comic on the lore of symbiotes. I'm grossly fascinated as well. More like: this is freaking terrifying and i can't get it out of my head" sort of facinated. It is a very personal matter, and it can easily be relateable. Its simple yin and yang, be good or be evil. Or, the more complicated grey side of choices. Web of Shadows and the Edge of Time as well as Spectacular Spiderman had quite a frightening spin on the symbiotes. The idea of the creatures is to loose yourself in pure power.
Not all of the symbiote are inherently evil, however. In the dimensions wherein the symbiote are aliens and not lab experiments, they are a lifeform that lives to empower other beings and create heroes. CREATE HEROES. Venom was unfit to be a hero, and was banished to a prison planet, where coincidentally, Spiderman and the Avengers had to find him. -_- I forgot how they got to the planet in the first place. 9-9 I'm not sure if they were testing a portal, or if some mad cosmic villain sent them there on purpose.

Danke! The mouth looks a bit pale in comparison to the rest of the figure, but I actually like the effect of that. Makes the mouth look like a completely different material than the rest of the suit. Thanks for the critique though
