Description
Unless faced with an Inquisitor or a Commissar, it seems Kerrun would rather not give his real name and occupation. That Kerrun.

The assassin's boast reminds me of that old saying: Three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead.

Poor Adept... You're so full of knowledge but...We know whats coming ;_;
I love the nameless Psyker X3 Poor fellow is suffering visions is he? All strapped down like that too, aww... <:3c
In all my pictures of Kerrun I have forgotten to give him that little dressing from his shoulder and under his arm. I'm so embarrassed <:3

A shuttle has been dispatched, carrying various specialists (techpriests, psykers, adepts) behind enemy line so that better fortifications can be established closer to the enemy.
It has installed with in a cloaking device, making it invisible to the radars and enemy artillery batteries below.

I like that crazy psycker, was he your character?
who does that red arm in the first panel belong to?
Why is that tubey-techpriesty guy so gleeful?
I like that even in the psychotic grimdark of 40k you can still break for coffee now and again

The red sleeve is likely a techpriest.
The adept is happy, because he's an enthusiastic scholar.

hmm I think I've been reading too much Redeemer. Couldn't the priest's excitement about plaguefather rituals, ie, even the use of the word 'fascinating' be enough to generate suspicion?

oh and the Tricorne hat is awesome.

Some psyker sanctioning can rupture the skull. Fortunately they managed to staple him shut. I'm guessing of course, as I didn't design the character.
Tricorn's are indeed awesome.

Right, I have to say that is an excellent depiction of a comman pysker in panel 2 - especially if he is either powerful/expeiranced or just plain crazy. Very fluff accurate.
I also like your assassin, blatantly giving away her profession like that. But instead of just being akin to some form of 'random w40k humour' this seems more along the lines of revealing subtle parts of her pyche. Exceptional, really. By the way, you said you were not the GM - may I ask who wrote this story then?

Mr-Culexus In reply to Cylexus [2009-02-26 17:15:14 +0000 UTC]
Devon Chadworth, the NPC psyker you refer to is quite a good psyker, his sanctioning does seem to have been a skosh rough, however.
In terms of the subtletys of Javelin's psyche..well, I wonder about that. She's very straight up. Direct. Uncomplicated. Noble Born. Good at hunting. Likes to shoot. Shoots well. That is Javelin Quin.
The GM is my good friend, who on the /tg/ message board goes by the name "Doomrider" (with tripcode) He has a DA page, but it is presently devoid of anything.

Cylexus In reply to Mr-Culexus [2009-02-26 17:23:56 +0000 UTC]
Hmm, allright. If you say Javelin is uncomplicated then so be it. Perhaps I'm just reading into her too much, I did learn a little psych analysis in the army and I always seem to end up thinking too much about what people are saying in literture. Yeah, I'm talking too much again.
Anyway, Doomrider! Cool, I had seen some of his work in the past very good stuff. I still remember him making a cameo appearance in some earlier art when Slaaneshi Daemonettes where making a Baneblade and he tells them its gonna be run on cocaine. Still love that one.

Doomrider is a pretty cool guy. In addition to being a good friend, a great GM, and a good editor, he's also the guy who paints my miniatures - 'cause I'm rubbish at it.
He does have that habit of appearing out of nowhere, though.

Ah so any artwork done of him appearing suddenly on a motorbike and having spikes and so on is actually what he is like!?
Sound like my friend lavaman, who paints my minatures since I'm too busy/lazy to learn to do it myself.
