That's funny, someone else once told me, "Impersonate an Eversor, kill 200 heretics then explode all over friends' faces while screaming 'WRRRRRYYYYY!!!'"

I doubt that even makes sense in context.

Sirwilson95 [2010-06-04 01:54:33 +0000 UTC]

Good god welcome back, one thing though, it's nitpicking, but one can scream and laugh without one's tong as long as their voice-box works, not sure if he's supposed to be fully mute or not, I take it yes?

By the way, welcome back, I know you were back before, but this just makes it feel more like usual now you're in full swing.

Mr-Culexus In reply to Sirwilson95 [2010-06-04 05:26:43 +0000 UTC]

Darraj is indeed capable of making some noises. I was just being poetic. Whether we realise it or not out tongue plays a role even in basic sounds such as laughter and screaming, so Darraj's would still sound peculiar. I only know this because I roll with linguists, not because I cut peoples tongues out.

Cylexus [2010-06-03 07:38:50 +0000 UTC]

You know actually that is a pretty good idea, they could work better at as a team if they divide themselves into using their skills properly. Kerrun and Javelin have already shown an affinity for simply talking to or interrogating people. So they would be best talking to some Nobly type.

And Triella proved way back on the ship that she is good at dealing with unussual situations, all those warp zombies didnt stand a chance. Though, that begs the question as to why she grabs Darraj, but then again, I suppose I wouldnt struggle overlymuch in such a situation.

Hah!

Mr-Culexus In reply to Cylexus [2010-06-03 07:43:39 +0000 UTC]

Darraj, a believer in the power of aquisitions and information, was eager to reclaim the evidence that Triella had lost, and indeed see what loot there was available in the hospital. The two of them had agreed to be team A. What she HADN'T told Darraj was her method for going back up to the 4th floor.

Cylexus In reply to Mr-Culexus [2010-06-03 13:19:44 +0000 UTC]

Well that certainly makes a lot of sense, I guess I should have seen that. Its quite obvious now I look at it, I mean Darraj does seem to at least be more than willing to work with her over Cortez. I still remember that scene in the Cargo Bay vent when he says: "Alone at last" jokingly to her.

Heh, his face is priceless you know that? Its good to see what you can do with just his mouth.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mr-Culexus In reply to Cylexus [2010-06-03 14:34:13 +0000 UTC]

Stats wise, Darraj and Triella are the smartest people on the team (40 and 44 respectively), they tend to notice this and agree that working together as "the smart party" tends to work out. They get along as well as anyone on that team can hope to, I think.

Cylexus In reply to Mr-Culexus [2010-06-03 15:44:23 +0000 UTC]

Ah now I get it, if they are the Smart Ones, and Kerrun is the Confident (leader) one, and Javeline would be, er... High DPS/rogue etc, what does that make Cortez? Some kind of dim creature comes to mind...

Hmm. Makes sense too that perhaps he likes the fact he doesnt talk and cant interupt her genius ideas.

I havent played Dark Heresy in 7000 years, Im going to grab Saintbomber and get a game down.

I might just write something worthwhile for it.

>"Cortez works well as a monk character."

what does that mean?

Monks are useless in DnD (or rather every pathfiinder and 3.5 game I've attempted to join has forbidden the use of monks because they GMs thought they were useless) but this is Dark Heresy so maybe you mean something else?

Monks are useless? I played one in 3.5 and did fine.
