I was pretty happy with this set of pages from my comic 6-Commando , although halfway through I had to move out of my apartment into a new place, and then I had a catastrophic website failure that was only saved by some very quick footwork and a very reliable backup system (thanks, Robert!). So apart from the $5000 that the move cost me (ugh) and the enormous disruption and all, I got a pretty fun action scene rolling. They said I was too talky. They said I was missing on the "action." They said I was writing a war story without the war. Well, who's laughing NOW?...or something.

I’ve always liked how the commando-verse third-gen power armour looks not too bulky to be considered heavy infantry but not too slim to be considered regular infantry or super-soldiers but rather a second-lined unit kinda thing. They are still at the fore front of the fight but in too many fights.

I'd like to say that this is my favourite scene from my favourite webcomic. The sense of horror at what's just happened and the desperation to stop the inevitable is just perfectly captured. Especially with the composition of the only sane man, Zaballa, in shirtsleeves between armoured juggernauts.

Funny, this is one I always wanted to redraw. All the parts are there but something with it never quite got off the ground for me. But it's right next to my face and everyone else is reading it, rather than staring at it for hours on end analyzing the excruciating minutiae of what I would have drawn if I'd been better at drawing.
