Description I don't recall how I got this photo... maybe a long bulb release, or time release. But it's completely analog. I printed it, hand colored it, sepia-ed it... the works.

After scanning here, I handled the obvious spots from dust. Otherwise, all the weird stuff is in processing.

Oh, I want to mention that each of the children are exactly like that today...just older with new clothes, hair and all...

So I finally decided to check out some of the DA galleries I've loved but have ignored for the past few weeks (months?), and there was this beautiful, beautiful image. I love it. It makes me miss so much that can be no more in the same way for me (the syntax is horrible, but I suspect you will understand what I mean). Thank you for showing this one. Maybe I need to go back to some of the old stuff for posting -- might be cathartic.

I do know what y ou mean. hugs hugs hugs... I'm about to fly out to see the kids. We are going to see my grand daughter in her first paying theatre job, La Cage, in Carmel. We will all stay over night and spend time being a family and having fun. I can't wait. Then I'll be in Los Gatos for a couple of weeks with my daughter and her family.

Love the colorization of the cheeks, My. Beautiful work done there. Takes me back to early to mid 50's shots in the feel of the shot, itself, but in the people, that reminds me of the sixties. Love how you have so much talent in doing this sort of thing. I would be totally lost in doing this. So wish you were around me here in order to show me how. Just love it!
